Two forest houses, Laribal and Panzam, both located in lower Dachigam are good staying options while in the Dachigam National Park. Accommodation at these rest houses is in the form of huts which are furnished with all the basic amenities including attached bath. The caretaker at the resort can also double up as a cook and provide you with some sumptuous local delicacies. Prior permission has to be taken from the wildlife warden's office, from where you could also get an idea about the security situation in the region.
