Lodge
One of the best places to stay at the Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary, the
Hollong Lodge is situated in the heart of the forest. Accommodation at the
resort is provided in the form of 6 double rooms at a price of around Rs.
1000 with Rs. 180 extra per head for breakfast, dinner and bed tea.
Complimentary elephant safaris are provided to all the guests while jeep
safaris can also be booked through the wildlife office at Madarihat.
Jaldapara
Tourist Lodge
Situated at Madarihat, about 2 km from the park entry gates, the property
boasts of nice rooms with wooden flooring and other basic amenities. In all
there are 22 double rooms, 6 cottages and three dormitories. The charges
range from Rs. 650 for cottages and Rs. 300 for dorm beds. (charges include
all meals). The Mallingi Tourist Lodge near Hashimara Chowpatthy is another
excellent option with 9 rooms and 2 dormitories.
