Wild
Grass Lodge, Kaziranga
The Wild Grass lodge is located outside Kaziranga National Park area and is
about 200-kms away from Guwahati. Built in an attractive rural style kind of
architeture, the resort's surrounding ground is covered with more than 40
species of trees over 200 species of shrubs, creepers and climbers.
Accommodation Facilities
Wild Grass Jungle Lodge provides 18 double rooms in 2 jungle lodges. Wild
Grass Tented Camp provides accommodation in three tents pegged under a high
thatched roof amidst an ambience of ruins. The rooms in the Jungle Lodge
have attached bathrooms with hot & cold water facilties. Tented Camp has
common convenience of bathroom and showers with modern tiles and hot &
cold water facility.
Food Services
There is a provision of three meals a day, which includes tea and coffee on
request.

Aranya
Tourist Lodge
The Assam Tourism Development Corporation run lodges located just about 3
km from Kaziranga National Park. The resort offers an ideal place to stay on
your tour to the park. The facilities provided here include 20 rooms and 4
cottages. All the rooms are provided with basic amenities. Other facilities
include a restaurant, laundry and running hot water. The tariffs range from
Rs. 635 to 750.
Soil Inspection Bungalow
The hotel is located on the Kohora river, just about 1 km from the park.
The colonial style bungalow has air conditioned rooms that are provided with
all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay. The room rates range from
Rs.450 to Rs. 500
GL Resort
The luxury resort offers 18 cottages that include air-conditioned pucca
cottages, mud huts and karbi style cottages. The in-house restaurant serves
an array of Indian, continental and Chinese food. The resort also has a
dhaba that serves excellent food at cheap cost. Jeep and elephant safaris
can be arranged on request.
