Bungalow
The government run inspection bungalow is one of the most picturesque place
to stay at the Manas Wildlife Sanctuary. The resort offers six double rooms
and a 30 bed dormitory should soon be accommodating guests. The guests will
be required to bring their own ration and other eatables while the caretaker
at the hotel can also double up as a cook for you. Situated about 22 km
inside the park at Mathanguri, near the river, the charges per night are
around Rs. 120.
Bansbari
Lodge
The only privately run hotel of the park is located just outside the entry
gates of the park. The lodge offers 24 double rooms with facilities that
include running hot and cold water and room service. The lodge arranges for
a dance performance every evening. Transport from near by cities can also be
arranged at extra cost. The charges range from Rs. 1150 to 2500 with extra
charges for food.
