Kipling's
Court
Situated near the Turiya village, Kipling's Court is a tourist lodge in
close proximity to Pench National Park. The lodge boasts of quality
accommodation in the form of clean rooms, each with a small balcony and all
the basic amenities. It also has a 10 bed dormitory and a restaurant which
serves tasty and hygienic food. The resort can also arrange for jungle
safaris in the morning and evenings. Some of the charges are Rs. 1090 10
1590 for a room and Rs. 90 for a dorm bed. Safari charges are Rs. 1550 for a
jeep which can accommodate up to six people.
Pench
Jungle Camp
It is one of the better staying options at Pench, which boasts of 3
cottages, 5 rooms and 12 tents. The tents are at an elevation of about 4
feet from the ground, providing safety from the creepy crawlie creatures of
the jungle. All the rooms are air-conditioned and furnished with a wrought
iron bed, lamp, a luggage rack cum table, a changing room and chairs.
Tariffs range from Rs. 2000 to 6500 for Indians and US$ 200 to 300 for
foreigners.
Bagh Van
It is one of the best places to stay at Pench. Situated in an area of 15
acres, the resort has 12 cottages with a bedroom and attached toilets. The
cottages are air cooled and furnished with beautiful local bamboo furniture.
The resort can also arrange for safaris into the park.
