Hornbill Camp

The camp is located just outside the sanctuary and provided with tents that have sit-outs and open to sky bathrooms. The resort does not have electricity but the lights powered by solar energy are lit up at night. The charges range around Rs. 2500. Please note that the camp closes during the time of monsoons from June to August. The forest department run Hornbill Inspection Bungalow is also located near by. The tariff for the same range around Rs. 600/room for Indians and US$ 20 for foreign nationals.

Other staying options at the sanctuary include the forest department's three storey watch tower which is a perfect place to spot wildlife. The rooms are on the top floor while the kitchen located below offers good and tasty food. The forest department dormitory, situated 300 mts. from the entrance is a good option which has around 50 beds. Be sure to book well in advance, especially during the peak tourist season.
