The rest house is located just 1 km from the entry gates of the sanctuary. Accommodation at the resort is provided in the form of 2 air conditioned and 2 non air-conditioned rooms. The cook at the place can prepare a delicious meal for you on request. Kids can loosen themselves at the in house playground while the adults have the option of a refreshing walk in the lush lawns. Reservations for the forest rest house can be made through the wildlife warden's office in Chennai. A number of shops located near the place sell coconuts and other eatables at very cheap prices. The tariffs for the rest house range from Rs. 300 to 400.
